Friday 5 February (Twilight event)

Adelaide punters can expect a certain level of intimacy with the kinds of bands that don't often get to their fair city when the Laneway Festival returns to the iconic Adelaide venue, Fowlers Live, within the grounds of the University of SA (City West campus). With a strictly limited capacity, the Laneway Festival promises an unforgettable experience within the tree-lined courtyard of Fowlers Live.

Adelaide Laneway Site

It is doubtful that the proprietors of G and J Fowler, Flour Merchants, would have imagined that their Adelaide Factory and Milling House would play host to one of the most innovative music festivals in Australia today!

Built in 1906, Fowler's Live has established itself as 'the' original music venue in Adelaide, hosting both international touring artists and proving ground to many Australian artists as well as arts events,
and other special events, Such as St Jerome's Laneways Festival.

Combined with the Yungondi Courtyard of the City West Campus of The University of SA, the intimateyet well shaded site is the perfect compliment to the St Jerome's Festival in both style and presentation.

Fowler's Live itself with a capacity of 500 and the outside Lion Courtyard, home to the Main Stage, provide patrons with good viewing, and the ability to settle amongst the shade in the Yungondi Courtyard and still hear the main artists while sampling the Merchandise, Food on offer or a drink.

Coupled with the Laneway Cinema in the Mercury Cinema, Laneways at Fowler's Live offers a truly unique and patron friendly atmosphere.
